Berlin, 17 feb (EFE).-the three European satellites that must accurately measuring the Earth’s magnetic field were presented today at the space center of Ottobrunn (South of Germany), where they were subjected to the latest tests.

According to plans of the European Space Agency, the three satellites will be launched in July from the Russian Plesetsk Cosmodrome, in the framework of the Swarm mission.

After a few weeks, scientists expect the first data, but the importance of the mission is based primarily on an observation over a long period.

Therefore the satellites must collect data for at least four years.EFE
