La Asociación Española de Normalización y Certificación (AENOR) has delivered Tuesday of 12 quality certificates to other many hospitals in the region, in a ceremony carried out at the headquarters of the health service of Castilla – La Mancha in Toledo.

On the one hand, ten centers have received the certificate of quality ISO 9001-2008 in recognition of their services have a management system that meets the criteria of quality.

Centres that have obtained this certification have been, on the one hand, three services of laboratories for clinical analysis, hematology and mocrobiología, in particular those of the Complejo Hospitalario de Toledo in the Hospital of paraplegics and the Hospital of Puertollano (Ciudad Real).

Also have been awarded this distinction the radiology services of the Hospital in Albacete, Hellin, Talavera de la Reina, Manzanares and Valdepeñas (Ciudad Real).

Other two creditors of this recognition were the areas of management of the Hospital in Albacete and Hospital in Ciudad Real.

Certificate ISO 140000

AENOR has made delivery of the certificate ISO 140000 to Hospital in Ciudad Real, attesting to comply with the rule that is focused to any organization that is seeking to reduce impacts on the environment and comply with environmental legislation.

Finally, Hellín Hospital has in addition the label EFMQ’s commitment to excellence, which structure the system of management of the Organization and can be used as a tool of diagnosis, providing a framework for measurement or to compare with the other.

The Minister of health and Social Affairs, who presided over the ceremony of delivery of certificates, pointed out that these distinctions “are a source of pride for the regional government” and shows “that things are being very reasonable”.

For its part, the director general of AENOE, Avelino Brito, has stressed the importance of “the quality of the management of these centres” that has made them worthy of these certificates, because the quality of the health service “depends not only on the training of staff, motivation or equipment” and management “is very important,”.
