ASEBIR will celebrate its 20th anniversary at the annual Congress of Seville.

the event will be held in the Andalusian capital from 20 to 23 November and will address the most current issues in the field of the biology of the reproduction.

Spain, March of 2013.- the Association for the study of the biology of the reproduction (ASEBIR) has begun preparations for the celebration of their 7th Annual Congress, which this year will take place in the capital from 20 to 23 November. The event, in addition to having become a reference scientist that will delve into more current topics related to the biology of reproduction, will also serve to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the scientific society ASEBIR.

During these two decades, ASEBIR has grown in experience and importance, currently exceeding 750 members and becoming an authoritative voice in the field of reproductive biology. In this regard, the Group promotes the study, development and dissemination of different areas of knowledge that comprises the reproductive biology, pooling the bases and lines of research and drafting those protocols that can standardize

before the match with a significant datethe Organizing Committee and the Scientific Committee of the next Congress of ASEBIR already work on the elaboration of a program that responds to the challenges of the specialty, and allowing the exchange of scientific and professional information between different areas relating to reproduction as AndrologyEmbryology and genetics.

Thus, the Congress, which will take place in the Hotel Barceló Renacimiento, will try to issues such as new methods of sperm selection (IMSI and MACS), failures in the oocyte activation, the various possibilities of embryo culture, or the ethical and legal implications of genetic tests.

In addition, and as it is becoming usual in each edition, will be delivered to both the ASEBIR-EMB 2013 awards to the best works presented through oral presentations, and awards to the best posters ASEBIR 2013. The first assessment will be held by the Scientific Committee, establishing two categories: award ASEBIR-EMB of clinical embryology, and award ASEBIR-EMB of basic research. The second will be selected from all the works presented in Poster format, highlighting the top 5 for its content and presentation.
