The College of nursing of Alicante 16 seminars to facilitate the incorporation of new members to the nurse activity.

alicante, July 2012.- El College of nursing of Alicante is taking place between days 2 and 16 July 16 professional immersion seminars mainly to new members in order to facilitate the process of incorporation into their work as nurses.

They provides practical training and basic information about different aspects of services of great complexity which will have to carry out its work to allow access to them with confidence and preparation requiring the circumstances, thus overcoming the logical fears and uncertainties of any novel professional. The seminars devoted to these themes will be complemented by two about career and work abroad, given the importance of both aspects when it comes to joining the labour market, especially in a few moments of crisis such as the current.

These 16 seminars are free and are also addressed to the other members who wish to participate in them to update skills, while always taking into account that they will provide basic content, as it has been pointed out.

The organisation and implementation of the aforementioned seminars is one initiative of College of nursing of Alicante for the benefit of the quality and good practice of the work of Alicante nurses.

The titles of the 16 seminars are as follows:

electrocardiography, career opportunities, work abroad, children’s maternal emergencies, chronic and acute wounds, functional bandages, the challenge of multicultural care, Manchester triage, burned, Insulinoterapias: injection techniques, surgical sutures, databases and searchesDrilling, biosafety, dysphagia: enteral nutrition by probe and basic life support.
