the President of the General Council of schools of physical therapists of Spain (CGCFE), José Antonio Martín Urrialde, has expressed satisfaction at the recent appointments of the spokesmen of the commissions of health of the Congress and the Senate, Mario Mingo and Jesús Aguirre, respectively, and has relied on that it put in place its proposals.

In the opinion of Martin Urrialde, both Mario Mingo and Jesús Aguirre are connoisseurs of the health professions and the needs of the different groups. In this regard, he recalled that physiotherapists have collected political party legislative changes enabling them to be included in the rational use of medicines and health products, act as a measure to rationalize and modernize primarily benefit citizens.

The CGCFE claimed political parties actions that allow the development of physical therapy specialties, as provided for in the law of management of the health professions, as well as strong measures in the fight against the intrusion, a scourge afflicting the population for years ”.

In the words of Martin Urrialde, physiotherapists, once reached the degree, access to the PhD, expect bold and modern, measures that help the unstoppable development of the profession and, above all, her fall to the level of our European neighbours, who have achieved in recent years, what we have been requesting unanswered ”.

The General Council of physiotherapists schools of Spain (CGCFE) is the body representing more than 40,000 physiotherapists, Spain, working with the common goal of promoting the health of citizens.
